Chester Leo & The Redwood Forest is the first of three innovative reading comprehension courses that bring learning to life through a series of exciting animal rescue missions. Led by Billy Hampton (pictured above) and the three adopted Rodifer Brothers (pictured below), Chester Leo & The Redwood Forest is a compelling reading comprehension adventure.
As students journey through each lesson, they build reading comprehension skills which can lead to higher standardized test scores, cross subject success and increased reading volume.
Parts Two & Three
Part two, Chester Leo & The Yosemite Valley is set to launch in August of 2027 and will cover intermediate reading comprehension. Part three, which is currently untitled, will launch in August of 2028 and will cover advanced reading comprehension.
The Story
Chester Leo & The Redwood Forest
At the heart of the course is the adventurous story of Billy Hampton and the Rodifer Kids, who set out on a daring mission into the Redwood Forest to rescue Chester Leo, a lost puppy.
As students follow the characters through challenges, discoveries, and problem-solving moments, they are not just reading a story, they are developing essential academic skills. Each chapter is carefully structured to build reading comprehension, strengthen inference abilities, and enhance overall cognitive development.
